What should I expect from the Winter Village?
The Winter Village will consist of holiday treats, special guests, the Miller Lite Beer Garden, food, snacks, live entertainment, cotton candy, roasted nuts, hot chocolate, lunch/dinner options. Holiday Programming will include winter décor, giant video board screen for viewing, face painting, caricature artist, stilt walkers, inflatables & holiday characters.
What time does the Winter Village Open/ Close?
The Winter Village will open three hours before tip and close 5 minutes before tip for each game. For the Penn State game (7pm tip) the Rutgers Winter Village will open at 4pm, and for the the Seton Hall game (3pm tip) the Rutgers Winter Village will open at noon.
Where will the Winter Village be located?
The Winter Village will be located at the grass oval lot in front of Gates A & B at Jersey Mike’s Arena.
Will there be alcoholic beverages at the Rutgers Winter Village?
Yes! Alcoholic beverages will be available for sale at the Rutgers Winter Village at the Miller Lite Beer Garden. Please note: no outside alcoholic beverages will be admitted.
Is the Winter Village 21+ Only?
No! The Winter Village is a family Friendly pregame event that will provide food, entertainment, & programming for all ages. Fans 21 & older will have to show identification and get wristbands to be able to purchase alcohol.
