How has the renewal process changed?

Football season tickets renewals are transitioning from years past. Instead of a representative reaching out, season ticket holders now have the option to auto-renew and be automatically opted-in to the 2026 season. Will this affect any other sport at this time?

At this time, no. This current renewal process only affects football. However, auto-Renew is being adopted across Rutgers Athletics. All ticketed sports have or will make this transition, including Men’s Basketball, Women’s Basketball, and Wrestling.


Why is this change happening?

Auto-Renew makes the renewal process more convenient and hassle-free, while ensuring that no fan misses the opportunity to keep their seats. Most fans renew their tickets year after year.


How will I be notified?

Season ticket holders will receive emails and phone calls in advance of the Auto Renew process. Reminders will also be sent to account holders, and ticket sales representatives will be available to answer questions.

Auto-Renew guarantees your seats each year without requiring manual renewal, giving you peace of mind and saving time.


Can I opt-out?

Yes. All football season ticket holders may opt out during the designated window each year.


When is the opt-out period?

For the 2026 season, the opt-out window runs from Tuesday, Jan. 20 - Monday, Feb. 2. During this time, you can cancel your renewal if you decide not to continue—no hassles or obligations.


Can I change my seats?

Yes. Requests for seat changes will be accepted during the Auto-Renew process, and be processed after. Your Ticket Representative can help you make changes to your account.


What payment methods are accepted?

Season ticket payments are processed through a four-installment billing plan by default, with the option to pay in full. All major credit and debit cards are accepted. The current card on file will be processed. If an update is needed to this account, please call 866-445-GORU.


Will I get a renewal confirmation?

Yes. A confirmation email and receipt will be sent once the Auto Renew process is completed.


What if my payment method changes?

Account holders will be notified to update payment information before their renewal is processed.
